Special Toddler Bento

We've been having trouble getting our daughter to eat lately. We're not sure why, she will eat just a few bites and then claim to be full and won't eat any more. So I've been trying to do more bento lunches for her to get her to eat more and it's definately working. And in this bento we have the return of the skewered veggies which are always scarfed down first, yay!

Left portion: Green peas on skewers, ritz crackers with mozzarella cheese and soy bologna hearts, Morningstar Farms chik nugget, lettuce, 3 french fries and ketchup in the blue bear container.

Right portion: Garlic and olive oil couscous with peas and a halved cherry tomato.

My way-older-than-toddler daughter tends to eat just about anything on a pick too!

Ehhh... I know what's it's like, even though I don't have a kid but I watched a few and it was VERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRY hard to make them eat.

Hi, I love looking at your beautiful bento creations. I have two questions...one, I don't know that much about the nutrients in seaweed, I've heard they're good, is there a health reason for not eating it? And two, would you like to be featured in my little site's bento gallery? If so, just let me know...I really admire your work!
Thanks,
Sheri

Thank you so much, everyone! It's so awesome to hear stories about other moms having success with bentos, etc too :D

Sheri: Normally I think you're right about seaweed being very nutritious (I don't know much about it myself) but I do have a health reason for not eating it. Seaweed is very high in Vitamin K, which is great for most people but it actually interferes with a medication that I take so seaweed is totally off the menu for me.
